Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

Registered office: Bohzo Ltd, The Workspace Basildon, 7 High Pavement, Basildon, England, SS14 1EA

1. Introduction and scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains how you may and may not use the proxy services provided by Cheapest Proxies ("we", "us", "our") at cheapest-proxies.com. It forms part of, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Proxy Usage Policy. By purchasing, accessing or using our datacenter, residential, mobile or residential premium proxies, you agree to the rules set out below.

This AUP applies to every product and feature we offer, to every byte of traffic routed through our network, and to all use of our dashboard, APIs and supporting tools. Our proxies are professional infrastructure for legitimate work. You remain responsible for everything you do through them, and you must always act within the law and within the terms of service of any website or platform you connect to. Where this AUP conflicts with anything you believe you were told elsewhere, the most restrictive obligation applies.

2. Who this policy applies to

This policy binds everyone who interacts with the service, including:

  • The registered account holder named on the order and billing records.
  • Any employee, contractor, agent or end user who acts under your account or with your authorisation.
  • Anyone you resell, share or sub-licence access to, where resale is permitted under your agreement with us.

You are responsible for ensuring that everyone who uses your credentials or your allocation understands and follows this AUP. Activity carried out through your account is treated as your activity, regardless of who performed it.

3. Permitted uses

The following are examples of the legitimate, privacy-focused activities our customers use Cheapest Proxies for. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive, and every example assumes you stay within the target site’s terms of service and applicable law:

  • Market research — gathering publicly available business data within each website’s terms.
  • Ad verification — confirming how your advertising displays to real users in different regions.
  • SEO and price monitoring — tracking search rankings and competitor pricing at a reasonable request rate.
  • Brand protection — identifying counterfeit listings, trademark misuse and fraud.
  • QA and testing — geo-accurate testing of your own applications, sites and services.
  • Privacy-focused browsing — protecting your IP address and location while you work.
  • Compliant automation and business data collection — automating legitimate tasks and collecting business data within each site’s terms of service and applicable law.
  • Multi-account management for agencies — managing multiple legitimate business accounts in line with each platform’s terms.

If you are unsure whether your intended use is permitted, treat it as prohibited until you have confirmed otherwise with us. We would rather clarify a use case in advance than enforce a breach after the fact.

4. Prohibited uses

You may not use Cheapest Proxies, directly or indirectly, and you may not permit or assist any third party to use it, for any of the following. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive:

  • Any activity that is illegal under the laws of your jurisdiction, our jurisdiction, or the jurisdiction of the target you connect to.
  • Unauthorised access to systems, networks or accounts, including hacking, brute-forcing credentials and probing for vulnerabilities you are not authorised to test.
  • Fraud of any kind, including payment fraud, carding and identity theft.
  • Sending spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or operating phishing campaigns.
  • Distributing malware, ransomware, spyware or other malicious code.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits or endangers minors.
  • Harassment, stalking, threats, doxxing or any abusive conduct toward individuals.
  • Credential theft, account takeover, or trading in stolen data.
  • Intellectual-property theft, including piracy and the unauthorised copying or redistribution of protected works.
  • Attacking infrastructure, including denial-of-service activity, traffic flooding and resource exhaustion.
  • Violating the terms of service, robots.txt or rate limits of any website or platform you connect to.
  • Circumventing, disabling or probing security, authentication or access controls on systems you are not authorised to test.

We make no representation that our proxies will prevent any platform from restricting or suspending your accounts. You are responsible for using each target site within its own rules.

5. Respecting the sites and services you connect to

A core condition of using our network is treating the websites, platforms and services you reach with care. Before and during any activity you must:

  • Honour the target site’s robots.txt directives and any published crawling or automation guidance.
  • Read and follow the target site’s terms of service, including any limits on automated access, account creation or data reuse.
  • Keep your request rates reasonable so you never overload, degrade or disrupt a target’s infrastructure.
  • Prefer an official API where one is offered, and stop or back off when a site signals that it is under strain.

Our Proxy Usage Policy sets out these day-to-day expectations in more detail. Respecting target sites is not optional etiquette; it is part of this agreement.

6. Your responsibility and compliance with law

You alone are responsible for the activity you carry out through our network and for its consequences. In particular, you confirm that you will:

  • Comply with all laws and regulations that apply to you, to us, and to the targets you connect to, including data-protection, computer-misuse, intellectual-property, sanctions and export-control laws.
  • Hold any consents, licences or authorisations your activity requires, and meet your own obligations as a data controller where you collect or process personal data (see our Privacy Policy).
  • Not rely on a proxy to make lawful something that would be unlawful without one. If a use would be illegal without a proxy, it is illegal with one.

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your use of the service in breach of this policy or the law, to the extent permitted by our Terms of Service.

7. Monitoring and enforcement

We monitor for abuse and take reports seriously. Where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may take any of the following steps, with or without notice depending on the severity:

  • Request information or clarification about the activity in question.
  • Throttle, suspend or terminate the relevant proxies or your account.
  • Withhold delivery of any remaining or future data on the account.
  • Decline to issue a refund where termination follows a serious or repeated breach.
  • Cooperate with valid legal requests and law-enforcement investigations.

We do not log the traffic you send through our network. Enforcement decisions are based on abuse reports, billing records and the metadata necessary to operate the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may act on a single serious report or on a pattern of conduct, and our decision to act (or not) in one case does not waive our right to act in another.

8. Consequences of a violation

The consequences of breaching this policy depend on the severity and circumstances of the breach, and may include:

  • A warning and a request to bring your activity back into compliance.
  • Immediate suspension of the affected proxies or your entire account to stop ongoing harm.
  • Termination of your account for serious or repeated breaches.
  • Forfeiture of any remaining data allowance, with no refund where termination follows a violation, as set out in our Refund & Replacement Policy.
  • Referral to the relevant authorities where the activity appears unlawful.

9. How to report a violation

If you believe our network is being used in breach of this policy, please contact us so we can investigate. See our Abuse Reporting Policy for full details on what to include. Reports can be sent to info@cheapest-proxies.com with the relevant IP addresses, timestamps and any supporting evidence. The more detail you provide, the faster we can act.

10. Cooperation with law enforcement

We cooperate with valid legal requests and legitimate law-enforcement investigations. Requests should come through the proper legal channel and should identify the IP addresses, timestamps and information sought. We respond in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy. Because we operate a no-traffic-logs network, the information we are able to provide is limited to the account, billing and operational metadata we actually hold — we cannot produce records of the content of your traffic, because we do not keep them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time as our service and the legal landscape evolve. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

12. Contact

If anything here is unclear, or you want to confirm whether a specific use case is permitted, get in touch via our contact page or email info@cheapest-proxies.com. We would rather answer a question up front than enforce a breach later.
