▸ Affiliate landing-page reviews

Ad verification for ad-ops teams: geo, creative and affiliate checks

Ad-ops and brand teams verify three things: that campaigns appear in the right places, that creatives and landing pages are the approved versions, and that partners play by the rules. Accredited verification vendors measure at scale inside the ad stack. Proxy checks add a human-readable view from each target city, which is often what a client, a compliance officer or an affiliate manager actually asks to see.

Affiliate brand-bidding checks

Affiliate programmes often forbid partners from bidding on the brand's trademark terms. Search those terms through residential IPs in each market the programme covers, screenshot any partner ads with the URL and time, and send the evidence to the affiliate network rather than clicking the ads yourself.

Geo and daypart compliance

Confirm a campaign shows where it should and nowhere else: check from inside the target region and from just outside it, during the scheduled hours and after them. Regional restrictions on products such as alcohol or gambling make these boundary checks part of compliance, not just quality control.

Meta Ad Library as a starting list

The Meta Ad Library shows the active ads an advertiser runs across Meta's apps, searchable by country, without a login. Use it to build the list of creatives to verify, then check placement and landing pages from residential IPs in the markets that matter.

Traffic types and the Europe mix

City-targeted residential carries most web checks; add mobile 4G/5G when a campaign is aimed at people on cellular connections. For pan-regional audits, the Europe mix, one residential pool spanning the EU, the UK and EFTA countries, is billed per GB like everything else.

The plan we suggest for Ad Verification

We suggest Residential here. Traffic leaves through household broadband connections in the country you pick, so pages load as they would for an ordinary customer there. Verifying an ad means seeing what a real person in the target market sees, and ad networks treat known datacenter traffic differently. Residential IPs reproduce the household view, so screenshots and reports hold up when a client or partner questions them.

✓

Real-user perspective

Capture placements, creatives and landing-page redirects as households in the target market get them, the evidence a client or compliance officer will ask for.

✓

Geo + ISP targeting

Narrow a check to a country, a city or even a carrier ASN, so a campaign aimed at one network or region is verified on the same footing.

✓

Bulk verification

Rotating residential spreads daily fraud audits across many placements and markets, so one team can cover a large media plan every morning.

✓

Mobile ad coverage

Add mobile 4G/5G when the fraud you're auditing only appears on carrier connections, such as some in-app or mobile-web placements.

Matching each job to a plan

Most teams run more than one kind of job. Data is bought per plan, so volume checks can sit on a lower-cost plan while the jobs that need a household or carrier connection get one.

Several markets, one order

MIX packages are ready-made residential pools covering several countries at once, so a multi-market report can run from a single order.

Getting the team set up

Four steps take a team from order to first check, using the browsers and tools it already works with.

1

Size the order

Start on Residential, the plan suggested above, and choose how many gigabytes the work needs. The proxy calculator shows the total first.

2

Pay by card or crypto

Stripe handles card payments and Cryptomus handles crypto. Each order is a one-off, valid for 30 days, with no subscription to cancel.

3

Set the market

Choose countries in the dashboard after payment, so one order can serve one client market this week and another the next. If a job needs a single city, ask support whether the network covers it.

4

Give the team access

The dashboard shows the login details once the payment has gone through. Pass them to the colleagues who need them, or whitelist the office IP so nobody has to type a password.

Rotation or a sticky session?

  • ▸Per-request rotation moves every request to a different IP. Use it for wide, read-only sweeps of public pages, such as price lists or search results.
  • ▸Sticky sessions hold one IP for a window you choose, typically 1-30 minutes, for signed-in or multi-step tasks such as stepping through a client's checkout.

Both are switched in the dashboard, and the options on offer depend on the plan. Keep request rates modest either way.

Signing in

  • ▸Username and password in the host:port:user:pass format that browsers, browser-profile tools and monitoring software accept.
  • ▸IP whitelist: add your office or server address in the dashboard, and anything connecting from it gets in without credentials, which suits shared office lines and scheduled jobs.

Both work over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, and the protocol can be changed later in the dashboard at no extra charge.

Match the IP to the market you report on

Search rankings, prices, ads and even which products appear can change with the visitor's country. Set the IP to the market your client or campaign targets, and the screenshots and figures your team files will line up with what customers there are shown.

  • ✓55+ countries to choose from.
  • ✓City-level targeting where the network supports it.
  • ✓One country per check keeps month-on-month results comparable.

United States United Kingdom Germany France Canada Australia Netherlands India Brazil Singapore

When a report doesn't match what the client sees on the ground, the IP's country is one of the first things to check.

How the four plans compare

Every plan bills per GB. The highlighted row is the plan we suggest for this work.

The rate charged is the one shown for the live plan at checkout.

Keeping Ad Verification work within the rules

We sell these proxies for legitimate business work: market and price research, ad verification, SEO, brand protection, QA and compliant automation, including running your own accounts inside each platform's rules. Whatever your team does through them has to stay within the terms of service of every site involved and the law that applies to you and your clients.

  • ✓Collect only publicly available information, and pace requests so the site isn't put under strain.
  • ✓No proxy can promise that an account escapes action by the platform. That depends mostly on how the account is used and whether it follows the terms.
  • ✓Personal details in collected pages, such as names, contact details or reviews, bring data-protection duties with them. Agree with your legal team what you keep and for how long.

The full rules are in our acceptable use policy.

Ad Verification proxies: questions from team leads

No. Accredited vendors measure viewability, invalid traffic and brand safety across impressions from inside the ad stack. Proxy checks are spot audits a person can read: a screenshot of the ad in place, the landing page, the redirect path. Use the vendor for coverage and proxy checks for disputes, client questions and partner compliance.
A full-page screenshot showing the ad and the search term, the landing URL and redirect path, the exit city and the time in UTC. Store captures in a shared folder named by market and date, and keep the raw files unedited, since an altered image is easy to dispute.
Ad networks fence campaigns by geography and by ASN, so a datacenter IP is often served different ads from the ones households get, and the audit loses its value.
If the suspect activity is mobile-only. Keep residential for desktop placements and add mobile 4G/5G for the carrier-only ones, within the same audit.
Daily for high-spend campaigns, and at least weekly for everything else.
Yes, across major markets.

Refunds

Proxies that fail on arrival can be reported to support for up to 24 hours after delivery. Support swaps them, and where a working swap isn't possible, refunds the affected amount. Details are in the refund policy.

Support

People answer tickets 24/7. Open one from the Support page in your dashboard and include the order reference.

Logs

Our records cover billing and how much bandwidth each order used. The URLs, page content and destinations your team reaches are never logged.
