What teams use AliExpress proxies for

Marketplace and e-commerce teams use them to see listings, prices, delivery promises and search placement the way shoppers in each market do, and to test their own storefronts before a launch.

▸ Dropshipping product research
▸ Supplier price intelligence
▸ Public catalogue research
▸ Reseller sourcing workflows

AliExpress for dropshipping and sourcing teams: landed cost by market

Teams that source from AliExpress care about one number: what an item costs delivered to a customer's country, after shipping, VAT and any import charges. AliExpress recalculates that for each ship-to country, and US totals changed after the United States ended duty-free treatment of low-value parcels in 2025. A residential IP in each market shows the storefront the way local customers see it.

Landed cost, market by market

Set the ship-to country on AliExpress and browse from a residential IP in that same country, then record item price, shipping, tax and the delivery estimate for each product you sell. Matching both keeps your numbers consistent with what customers there will pay.

Supplier comparisons

Compare suppliers on the same product by store rating, shipping options and delivery promise to your main markets. For the apps your team relies on, AliExpress's affiliate and dropshipping programmes provide official data feeds, which keeps catalogue tooling on an approved footing rather than on copied pages.

One buyer account for the business

Keep orders under the company's own AliExpress buyer account with accurate details, so invoices, disputes and refunds trace back cleanly. The terms treat multiple associated accounts used to get round AliExpress's rules as a breach, and spreading orders that way also muddies buyer protection claims.

Plan sizing

Country targeting is the setting that matters, since AliExpress prices by destination country and a city-level IP adds little. Product pages carry many images and videos, so agree a fixed list of SKUs per market and keep checks to that list.

The plan we suggest for AliExpress

We suggest Residential here. Traffic leaves through household broadband connections in the country you pick, so pages load as they would for an ordinary customer there. AliExpress sets prices and language by the visitor's IP. Residential IPs in your target countries show accurate local pricing, where datacenter IPs often get a distorted view.

✓

Accurate geo-pricing

See region-correct prices, so dropshipping margins are calculated on what customers in each market will actually pay.

✓

Catalog research at scale

Rotating residential supports research on public product catalogues across many suppliers, within AliExpress's terms.

✓

Country routing

AliExpress shows different listings in different countries. Residential IPs in each market reveal every version, so range decisions reflect what local customers can buy.

✓

Multi-account ops

If your business keeps separate buyer and reseller accounts for genuine reasons, run each on its own residential IP. AliExpress's terms don't allow extra accounts used to get round its rules.

Matching each job to a plan

Most teams run more than one kind of job. Data is bought per plan, so volume checks can sit on a lower-cost plan while the jobs that need a household or carrier connection get one.

Several markets, one order

MIX packages are ready-made residential pools covering several countries at once, so a multi-market report can run from a single order.

Getting the team set up

Four steps take a team from order to first check, using the browsers and tools it already works with.

1

Size the order

Start on Residential, the plan suggested above, and choose how many gigabytes the work needs. The proxy calculator shows the total first.

2

Pay by card or crypto

Stripe handles card payments and Cryptomus handles crypto. Each order is a one-off, valid for 30 days, with no subscription to cancel.

3

Set the market

Choose countries in the dashboard after payment, so one order can serve one client market this week and another the next. If a job needs a single city, ask support whether the network covers it.

4

Give the team access

The dashboard shows the login details once the payment has gone through. Pass them to the colleagues who need them, or whitelist the office IP so nobody has to type a password.

Rotation or a sticky session?

  • ▸Per-request rotation moves every request to a different IP. Use it for wide, read-only sweeps of public pages, such as price lists or search results.
  • ▸Sticky sessions hold one IP for a window you choose, typically 1-30 minutes, for signed-in or multi-step tasks such as stepping through a client's checkout.

Both are switched in the dashboard, and the options on offer depend on the plan. Keep request rates modest either way.

Signing in

  • ▸Username and password in the host:port:user:pass format that browsers, browser-profile tools and monitoring software accept.
  • ▸IP whitelist: add your office or server address in the dashboard, and anything connecting from it gets in without credentials, which suits shared office lines and scheduled jobs.

Both work over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, and the protocol can be changed later in the dashboard at no extra charge.

Match the IP to the market you report on

Search rankings, prices, ads and even which products appear can change with the visitor's country. Set the IP to the market your client or campaign targets, and the screenshots and figures your team files will line up with what customers there are shown.

  • ✓55+ countries to choose from.
  • ✓City-level targeting where the network supports it.
  • ✓One country per check keeps month-on-month results comparable.

United States United Kingdom Germany France Canada Australia Netherlands India Brazil Singapore

When a report doesn't match what the client sees on the ground, the IP's country is one of the first things to check.

Every plan bills per GB. The highlighted row is the plan we suggest for this work.

The rate charged is the one shown for the live plan at checkout.

Keeping AliExpress work within the rules

We sell these proxies for legitimate business work: market and price research, ad verification, SEO, brand protection, QA and compliant automation, including running your own accounts inside each platform's rules. Whatever your team does through them has to stay within the terms of service of every site involved and the law that applies to you and your clients.

  • ✓Collect only publicly available information, and pace requests so the site isn't put under strain.
  • ✓No proxy can promise that an account escapes action by the platform. That depends mostly on how the account is used and whether it follows the terms.
  • ✓Personal details in collected pages, such as names, contact details or reviews, bring data-protection duties with them. Agree with your legal team what you keep and for how long.

The full rules are in our acceptable use policy.

AliExpress proxies: questions from team leads

Ship-to country, currency, language and promotions on a signed-in account all change the total. Check with a French residential IP, ship-to set to France, signed out and in a fresh browser profile. If a gap remains, it usually comes from VAT, a local warehouse offer or a promotion running only in that market.
No. Welcome deals are meant for first-time buyers, and AliExpress's terms let it limit or suspend accounts whose buying patterns don't look like an ordinary consumer's. Budget with standard prices and treat promotions as a bonus. Use proxies for checking markets, not for stacking offers.
Rotating residential. It keeps product and price checks moving across suppliers and countries.
Yes. Geo-targeting changes the catalogue AliExpress shows, so check each market from its own country.
For low volumes they're workable, but they get rate-limited quickly once checks scale up.
On a sticky residential IP per account, and only for accounts AliExpress's terms allow.

Refunds

Proxies that fail on arrival can be reported to support for up to 24 hours after delivery. Support swaps them, and where a working swap isn't possible, refunds the affected amount. Details are in the refund policy.

Support

People answer tickets 24/7. Open one from the Support page in your dashboard and include the order reference.

Logs

Our records cover billing and how much bandwidth each order used. The URLs, page content and destinations your team reaches are never logged.
