From $3.99 per GB · in your dashboard once payment clears · 99.9% uptime

What teams use Walmart proxies for

Marketplace and e-commerce teams use them to see listings, prices, delivery promises and search placement the way shoppers in each market do, and to test their own storefronts before a launch.

▸ Regional price monitoring
▸ Stock and availability tracking
▸ Customer review research
▸ Marketplace seller admin

Walmart Marketplace teams: local availability, ads and team access

Teams selling on Walmart work in Seller Center, often with Walmart Fulfillment Services handling storage and shipping, and advertise through Walmart Connect. The proxy question comes up because walmart.com is local: availability, pickup and delivery depend on the store and ZIP code a shopper has set, so what one city sees can differ from the next.

Listings, store by store

Open your key listings through a US residential IP with city targeting near each priority store, set that store on the page, and note price, shipping speed and whether pickup or delivery shows. Run it by hand on a schedule; Walmart's terms prohibit automated collection.

Where Walmart Connect ads land

Sponsored products from Walmart Connect appear in search results and on product pages. Searching your main terms from a residential IP in the target region gives a rough picture of where your ads and rivals' sit; use Walmart Connect's own reporting for anything you'd present as performance.

Team access in Seller Center

Add colleagues and agencies as separate Seller Center users with their own roles instead of sharing the main login. Everyone works from their usual connection; nobody needs a proxy to manage listings, orders or WFS shipments.

Plan and budget

Residential with US city targeting is the fit. Walmart's pages carry a lot of images and scripts, so fix a list of URLs per store and decide who runs the checks; spend then stays easy to forecast. Neither datacenter nor mobile 4G/5G adds anything for these checks.

The plan we suggest for Walmart

We suggest Residential here. Traffic leaves through household broadband connections in the country you pick, so pages load as they would for an ordinary customer there. Walmart runs advanced bot protection from PerimeterX. Rotating residential IPs are the type that keeps public-data research workable beyond trial volumes, as long as the project stays within Walmart's terms on automated access.

✓

Fewer PerimeterX challenges

Residential IPs meet far fewer PerimeterX challenges than the datacenter ranges walmart.com routinely blocks. Walmart's terms still apply, so collect public data only.

✓

Inventory tracking

Check public stock and pricing on a regular schedule without constant interruptions, so availability reports stay current.

✓

Walmart Marketplace

Marketplace sellers with more than one approved account can keep each on its own IP, and the same plan covers public listing research across Walmart's marketplace.

✓

Geo-pricing

Compare Walmart's prices between regions with city targeting, since what a shopper sees can depend on the local store.

Matching each job to a plan

Most teams run more than one kind of job. Data is bought per plan, so volume checks can sit on a lower-cost plan while the jobs that need a household or carrier connection get one.

Several markets, one order

MIX packages are ready-made residential pools covering several countries at once, so a multi-market report can run from a single order.

Proxies for your own clients

The reseller programme is free to join. Once approved, you create a login for each client through the REST API and set your own client prices.

Getting the team set up

Four steps take a team from order to first check, using the browsers and tools it already works with.

1

Size the order

Start on Residential, the plan suggested above, and choose how many gigabytes the work needs. The proxy calculator shows the total first.

2

Pay by card or crypto

Stripe handles card payments and Cryptomus handles crypto. Each order is a one-off, valid for 30 days, with no subscription to cancel.

3

Set the market

Choose countries in the dashboard after payment, so one order can serve one client market this week and another the next. If a job needs a single city, ask support whether the network covers it.

4

Give the team access

The dashboard shows the login details once the payment has gone through. Pass them to the colleagues who need them, or whitelist the office IP so nobody has to type a password.

Rotation or a sticky session?

  • ▸Per-request rotation moves every request to a different IP. Use it for wide, read-only sweeps of public pages, such as price lists or search results.
  • ▸Sticky sessions hold one IP for a window you choose, typically 1-30 minutes, for signed-in or multi-step tasks such as stepping through a client's checkout.

Both are switched in the dashboard, and the options on offer depend on the plan. Keep request rates modest either way.

Signing in

  • ▸Username and password in the host:port:user:pass format that browsers, browser-profile tools and monitoring software accept.
  • ▸IP whitelist: add your office or server address in the dashboard, and anything connecting from it gets in without credentials, which suits shared office lines and scheduled jobs.

Both work over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, and the protocol can be changed later in the dashboard at no extra charge.

Match the IP to the market you report on

Search rankings, prices, ads and even which products appear can change with the visitor's country. Set the IP to the market your client or campaign targets, and the screenshots and figures your team files will line up with what customers there are shown.

  • ✓55+ countries to choose from.
  • ✓City-level targeting where the network supports it.
  • ✓One country per check keeps month-on-month results comparable.

United States United Kingdom Germany France Canada Australia Netherlands India Brazil Singapore

When a report doesn't match what the client sees on the ground, the IP's country is one of the first things to check.

How the four plans compare

Every plan bills per GB. The highlighted row is the plan we suggest for this work.

Plan Trust level Speed Cost From, per GB Where it fits
Datacenter Standard ★★★★★ $ $3.50 Bulk page checks, rank tracking and QA on your own sites
Residential Suggested High ★★★ $$ $3.99 Local prices, search results, ads and marketplaces
Residential Premium Very high ★★★★ $$$ $6.50 Demanding sites, brand protection and client work
Mobile 4G/5G Very high ★★★ $$$$ $4.50 Apps built for phones and ads served on mobile networks

The rate charged is the one shown for the live plan at checkout.

Keeping Walmart work within the rules

We sell these proxies for legitimate business work: market and price research, ad verification, SEO, brand protection, QA and compliant automation, including running your own accounts inside each platform's rules. Whatever your team does through them has to stay within the terms of service of every site involved and the law that applies to you and your clients.

  • ✓Collect only publicly available information, and pace requests so the site isn't put under strain.
  • ✓No proxy can promise that an account escapes action by the platform. That depends mostly on how the account is used and whether it follows the terms.
  • ✓Personal details in collected pages, such as names, contact details or reviews, bring data-protection duties with them. Agree with your legal team what you keep and for how long.

The full rules are in our acceptable use policy.

Walmart proxies: questions from team leads

Only to see those sites as local shoppers do. walmart.ca and walmart.com.mx are separate sites with their own catalogues, currencies and languages, so use a residential IP in that country. Selling there runs through separate Marketplace programmes with their own requirements, set up with Walmart rather than through any IP.
No. WFS inbound shipments, inventory and fees are managed in Seller Center and through the Marketplace APIs, none of which depend on location. Where a proxy helps is afterwards: checking that WFS items show the expected delivery promise for shoppers in different cities.
Rotating residential; none of the other types is a good fit here.
No. PerimeterX challenges datacenter traffic at the edge, before pages load.
Rotating residential typically handles 60-120 requests a minute per IP pool before backoff is needed. Start lower, and confirm the project fits Walmart's terms on automated access first.
For some workflows, yes: pages that only render fully in a browser need Puppeteer or Playwright alongside rotating residential. Treat a CAPTCHA as a sign to slow down, not something to automate around.

Refunds

Proxies that fail on arrival can be reported to support for up to 24 hours after delivery. Support swaps them, and where a working swap isn't possible, refunds the affected amount. Details are in the refund policy.

Support

People answer tickets 24/7. Open one from the Support page in your dashboard and include the order reference.

Logs

Our records cover billing and how much bandwidth each order used. The URLs, page content and destinations your team reaches are never logged.
