Recommended plan: Residential Premium

Discord proxies for business teams

Run a brand's Discord server, approved bots and moderation team on Residential Premium IPs, within Discord's terms.

What teams use Discord proxies for

On messaging apps a business typically runs channels, communities or a support inbox. Proxies help with the parts that change by country, such as the offers, landing pages and shops that posts link to, while every account stays within the app's terms.

▸ Community automation within Discord's terms
▸ Hosting approved bots
▸ Moderator accounts, one per person
▸ Brand server administration

Discord for brand communities: roles, moderation and market checks

Brands use Discord to run a community server, support players or customers, and sell perks through Server Subscriptions. Almost all of that is permission work inside Discord, done by named staff and moderators. Proxies come in at the edges, where a campaign meets the open web: launch pages, invite links and partner promotions, checked as people in each target market would load them.

Roles over shared logins

Give agency staff and moderators their own accounts with roles scoped to the job, and switch on the server option that requires two-factor authentication for moderator actions. The audit log then records who changed what, and offboarding means removing a role rather than resetting a shared password.

AutoMod covers the night shift

AutoMod can block custom keywords, mention spam and suspected spam before anyone sees it, which covers the hours your moderators are asleep. Pair it with a verification level and rules screening, so newcomers accept the rules before they can post. None of this depends on where anyone connects from.

Campaign pages by market

Launch pages and partner promotions often change by country for language, pricing or age gates. Check them on residential IPs in each target market, holding a sticky session, and confirm their invite links open the right server. What appears inside other people's Discord clients is beyond a proxy's reach.

Markets where Discord is blocked

Russia and Turkey both blocked Discord in October 2024. If your audience includes markets like these, plan support on channels that are lawful there instead of telling members to route around the block; that decision sits with them and their local law.

The plan we suggest for Discord

We suggest Residential Premium here. It is our higher-trust residential tier, built for demanding sites and for client work where a page that fails to load costs more than the higher per-GB rate. Discord is strict with datacenter IPs at signup but relaxed about stable residential connections. Residential Premium, our higher-trust residential tier, gives community staff that household standing, with sticky sessions that hold steady through a shift.

✓

Static IPs

A sticky session on Residential Premium keeps one IP for as long as the session runs, so a moderator's working session stays on a single address, much like a member on a home connection.

✓

Smoother phone-verify

Signing up from a residential ASN brings fewer verification challenges in most regions than a datacenter address does. Each staff account still needs its own real email address, and a phone number if Discord asks for one.

✓

Bot hosting

Official Discord bots and approved integrations stay connected on steady Residential Premium sessions when your hosting routes them through a proxy. Bots must be built on Discord's Bot API.

✓

Voice channel-friendly

Premium IPs sit on consumer ISP networks with low latency, which keeps voice and screenshare usable for community events. Both use data steadily on per-GB billing, so many teams keep long calls on their normal connection.

Matching each job to a plan

Most teams run more than one kind of job. Data is bought per plan, so volume checks can sit on a lower-cost plan while the jobs that need a household or carrier connection get one.

Several markets, one order

MIX packages are ready-made residential pools covering several countries at once, so a multi-market report can run from a single order.

Getting the team set up

Four steps take a team from order to first check, using the browsers and tools it already works with.

1

Size the order

Start on Residential Premium, the plan suggested above, and choose how many gigabytes the work needs. The proxy calculator shows the total first.

2

Pay by card or crypto

Stripe handles card payments and Cryptomus handles crypto. Each order is a one-off, valid for 30 days, with no subscription to cancel.

3

Set the market

Choose countries in the dashboard after payment, so one order can serve one client market this week and another the next. If a job needs a single city, ask support whether the network covers it.

4

Give the team access

The dashboard shows the login details once the payment has gone through. Pass them to the colleagues who need them, or whitelist the office IP so nobody has to type a password.

Rotation or a sticky session?

  • ▸Per-request rotation moves every request to a different IP. Use it for wide, read-only sweeps of public pages, such as price lists or search results.
  • ▸Sticky sessions hold one IP for a window you choose, typically 1-30 minutes, for signed-in or multi-step tasks such as stepping through a client's checkout.

Both are switched in the dashboard, and the options on offer depend on the plan. Keep request rates modest either way.

Signing in

  • ▸Username and password in the host:port:user:pass format that browsers, browser-profile tools and monitoring software accept.
  • ▸IP whitelist: add your office or server address in the dashboard, and anything connecting from it gets in without credentials, which suits shared office lines and scheduled jobs.

Both work over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, and the protocol can be changed later in the dashboard at no extra charge.

Match the IP to the market you report on

Search rankings, prices, ads and even which products appear can change with the visitor's country. Set the IP to the market your client or campaign targets, and the screenshots and figures your team files will line up with what customers there are shown.

  • ✓55+ countries to choose from.
  • ✓City-level targeting where the network supports it.
  • ✓One country per check keeps month-on-month results comparable.

When a report doesn't match what the client sees on the ground, the IP's country is one of the first things to check.

How the four plans compare

Every plan bills per GB. The highlighted row is the plan we suggest for this work.

Plan Trust level Speed Cost From, per GB Where it fits
Datacenter Standard ★★★★★ $ $3.50 Bulk page checks, rank tracking and QA on your own sites
Residential High ★★★ $$ $3.99 Local prices, search results, ads and marketplaces
Residential Premium Suggested Very high ★★★★ $$$ $6.50 Demanding sites, brand protection and client work
Mobile 4G/5G Very high ★★★ $$$$ $4.50 Apps built for phones and ads served on mobile networks

The rate charged is the one shown for the live plan at checkout.

Keeping Discord work within the rules

We sell these proxies for legitimate business work: market and price research, ad verification, SEO, brand protection, QA and compliant automation, including running your own accounts inside each platform's rules. Whatever your team does through them has to stay within the terms of service of every site involved and the law that applies to you and your clients.

  • ✓Collect only publicly available information, and pace requests so the site isn't put under strain.
  • ✓No proxy can promise that an account escapes action by the platform. That depends mostly on how the account is used and whether it follows the terms.
  • ✓Personal details in collected pages, such as names, contact details or reviews, bring data-protection duties with them. Agree with your legal team what you keep and for how long.

The full rules are in our acceptable use policy.

Discord proxies: questions from team leads

Start with a modest residential balance and country targeting; launch and invite pages are light, so data use stays low. Video and voice are the expensive part of Discord, so keep them off the proxy. City targeting is only worth switching on for genuinely local promotions, such as an in-store event.
Yes, and that is how Discord is meant to work: one account can hold roles in many servers, and the built-in account switcher handles the odd separate brand login. What breaks the rules is automating normal accounts or creating throwaway ones to inflate member counts, which Discord treats as platform manipulation.
No. Discord's terms forbid self-bots, meaning automated user accounts. Build on the official Bot API or use approved integrations; a clean IP can help stability but can't turn a rule-breaking setup into a compliant one.
Premium is our higher-trust residential tier, and its sticky sessions keep one IP while staff work, much like a fixed home line. We don't sell a separate ISP product, and standard residential is fine for lighter checks.
For active accounts that go through a proxy, yes. Read-only bots don't strictly need one each.
Rarely. Mobile costs more per GB and adds little here; Residential Premium is the tier we recommend.

Refunds

Proxies that fail on arrival can be reported to support for up to 24 hours after delivery. Support swaps them, and where a working swap isn't possible, refunds the affected amount. Details are in the refund policy.

Support

People answer tickets 24/7. Open one from the Support page in your dashboard and include the order reference.

Logs

Our records cover billing and how much bandwidth each order used. The URLs, page content and destinations your team reaches are never logged.
