Price Monitoring proxies for business teams

Residential proxies for pricing and retail teams tracking competitor prices, stock and reseller MAP compliance in each market, from public pages.

From $3.99 per GB · in your dashboard once payment clears · 99.9% uptime

What teams use Price Monitoring proxies for

Search, research and data teams use them to load public pages from the right location at the volume a report needs, from rankings and ads to prices, competitor pages and QA runs, within each site's terms.

▸ Rival price tracking by market
▸ Stock and availability alerts
▸ Reseller MAP reviews (where lawful)
▸ Inputs for repricing models

Price tracking your team can act on

A rival's price change only helps if your team sees it in the market where it happened. Pricing and merchandising staff watch what rivals charge, whether stock is moving and how resellers advertise the brand's products, and because shops tailor prices by region, they need each market's real shelf price. Residential IPs in the target country return the figure a local customer sees on public product pages, within each site's terms.

Set it up around markets

List the countries and retailers that matter to your category, then point residential exits at each. The team schedules a sweep per market, exports the results to the pricing sheet, and works through the gaps it finds while they are still current.

Reseller price checks

Check how authorised resellers advertise your products in each region. Minimum advertised price policies are restricted by competition law in some countries, so agree with your legal team how findings may be used in each market before anyone acts on them.

Choosing the plan

Public price pages sit well on residential data, charged per GB. A mix package spreads residential data across several countries, which suits a team pricing more than one market from a single order; the countries are set in the dashboard after purchase.

Clean inputs for repricing

Log each price with the market, currency and time it was read. When the repricing model knows the vantage point, a regional difference is not mistaken for a price change, and analysts spend less time cleaning the sheet each morning.

The plan we suggest for Price Monitoring

We suggest Residential here. Traffic leaves through household broadband connections in the country you pick, so pages load as they would for an ordinary customer there. Online shops tailor prices and stock to the visitor's location, and many show suspected bots something different. Residential IPs return the price a local shopper actually sees, collected from publicly available pages within each site's terms, so repricing decisions start from real numbers.

✓

Geo-accurate pricing

A repricing rule is only as good as the price it reads. A household IP in each market brings back the price and currency a local shopper is shown, where a suspected bot may be served something else.

✓

Rotating at scale

Big catalogues get checked around the clock without hammering anyone: the job is paced and spread over many addresses, so each retailer sees only a modest request rate.

✓

Country & city targeting

Pick the country or city for each job so regional price and stock differences show up in the data instead of being averaged away.

✓

Clean, reliable sessions

Every CAPTCHA is a gap in tomorrow's price sheet. Residential sessions meet fewer of them, so repricing and retail teams spend the morning acting on prices rather than chasing missing rows.

Matching each job to a plan

Most teams run more than one kind of job. Data is bought per plan, so volume checks can sit on a lower-cost plan while the jobs that need a household or carrier connection get one.

Several markets, one order

MIX packages are ready-made residential pools covering several countries at once, so a multi-market report can run from a single order.

Getting the team set up

Four steps take a team from order to first check, using the browsers and tools it already works with.

1

Size the order

Start on Residential, the plan suggested above, and choose how many gigabytes the work needs. The proxy calculator shows the total first.

2

Pay by card or crypto

Stripe handles card payments and Cryptomus handles crypto. Each order is a one-off, valid for 30 days, with no subscription to cancel.

3

Set the market

Choose countries in the dashboard after payment, so one order can serve one client market this week and another the next. If a job needs a single city, ask support whether the network covers it.

4

Give the team access

The dashboard shows the login details once the payment has gone through. Pass them to the colleagues who need them, or whitelist the office IP so nobody has to type a password.

Rotation or a sticky session?

  • ▸Per-request rotation moves every request to a different IP. Use it for wide, read-only sweeps of public pages, such as price lists or search results.
  • ▸Sticky sessions hold one IP for a window you choose, typically 1-30 minutes, for signed-in or multi-step tasks such as stepping through a client's checkout.

Both are switched in the dashboard, and the options on offer depend on the plan. Keep request rates modest either way.

Signing in

  • ▸Username and password in the host:port:user:pass format that browsers, browser-profile tools and monitoring software accept.
  • ▸IP whitelist: add your office or server address in the dashboard, and anything connecting from it gets in without credentials, which suits shared office lines and scheduled jobs.

Both work over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, and the protocol can be changed later in the dashboard at no extra charge.

Match the IP to the market you report on

Search rankings, prices, ads and even which products appear can change with the visitor's country. Set the IP to the market your client or campaign targets, and the screenshots and figures your team files will line up with what customers there are shown.

  • ✓55+ countries to choose from.
  • ✓City-level targeting where the network supports it.
  • ✓One country per check keeps month-on-month results comparable.

When a report doesn't match what the client sees on the ground, the IP's country is one of the first things to check.

Keeping Price Monitoring work within the rules

We sell these proxies for legitimate business work: market and price research, ad verification, SEO, brand protection, QA and compliant automation, including running your own accounts inside each platform's rules. Whatever your team does through them has to stay within the terms of service of every site involved and the law that applies to you and your clients.

  • ✓Collect only publicly available information, and pace requests so the site isn't put under strain.
  • ✓No proxy can promise that an account escapes action by the platform. That depends mostly on how the account is used and whether it follows the terms.
  • ✓Personal details in collected pages, such as names, contact details or reviews, bring data-protection duties with them. Agree with your legal team what you keep and for how long.

The full rules are in our acceptable use policy.

Price Monitoring proxies: questions from team leads

Reading prices a shop displays to every visitor is everyday commercial research, but each site's terms of service still apply, and some restrict automated collection. Check them per retailer, follow the law that applies to you, keep request rates modest, and collect only the price and stock fields your team actually uses.
Three things: how heavy each product page is, how often you check it, and how many markets you cover. Images and scripts make up much of a page's weight, so ask whoever builds the tooling to fetch page text rather than full renders, and drop scheduled checks that nobody on the team reads.
Most teams need both types. Protected marketplaces go on rotating residential; light sources with no protection can sit on datacenter, which keeps the monthly bill down.
It's worth a short conversation. Tracking prices that any visitor can see is an ordinary, legitimate business activity; what legal will want to know is that the team respects each site's terms of service and applicable law, at reasonable request rates.
Fast-moving categories justify an hourly check, while everything else can wait for a daily one. Rotation is what keeps the hourly runs dependable.
Yes. Simple, unprotected pages suit datacenter, while protected retailers need residential for accurate local prices.

Refunds

Proxies that fail on arrival can be reported to support for up to 24 hours after delivery. Support swaps them, and where a working swap isn't possible, refunds the affected amount. Details are in the refund policy.

Support

People answer tickets 24/7. Open one from the Support page in your dashboard and include the order reference.

Logs

Our records cover billing and how much bandwidth each order used. The URLs, page content and destinations your team reaches are never logged.
