Dialpad proxies for business teams

Residential proxies for IT teams, agencies and MSPs using Dialpad: region-consistent sign-ins, separate sessions per tenant and steady connections for remote staff, within Dialpad's terms and your security policy.

From $3.99 per GB · in your dashboard once payment clears · 99.9% uptime

What teams use Dialpad proxies for

These pages look at software a team may already run and where a proxy fits around it. The proxy supplies only the connection; what the tool does still has to fit the target site's terms and the law that applies to you.

▸ Region-consistent sign-ins for teams
▸ Tenant separation for MSPs, within platform terms
▸ Stable connections for home-based staff
▸ Access for travelling staff, per IT policy

Dialpad for sales and support teams: where proxies help and where they hurt

Sales floors, support desks and agencies run Dialpad for calls, messages and meetings, the last under Dialpad Meetings, the name UberConference took in 2022. Almost none of that work needs a proxy, and live calls are better without one. The useful exception is checking the customer-facing side of a Dialpad setup, such as which local number your website shows visitors in each region.

Local number checks by market

Teams that advertise country-specific Dialpad numbers confirm that each regional landing page and ad shows the right number and business hours. Residential IPs with country or city targeting give reviewers the visitor's view without anyone travelling.

Keep calls on the approved network

Agents' calls should run on the connection your IT team approved for Dialpad, not through a proxy. Extra routing adds delay that customers hear as talk-over and clipped words, which no proxy plan can fix.

Separate teams inside Dialpad

Separating clients or departments is admin work inside Dialpad, using its offices, departments and call centers with role-based access, not something proxies provide. Agencies handling several client accounts should hold separate admin access per client rather than shared logins.

Sizing the plan

Number and landing-page checks come to a handful of page loads per market, so a small residential order goes a long way. Add city targeting only where you publish city-level numbers, and repeat checks after every website or routing change.

The plan we suggest for Dialpad

We suggest Residential here. Traffic leaves through household broadband connections in the country you pick, so pages load as they would for an ordinary customer there. IT and operations teams want Dialpad sign-ins to come from places that match how the company actually works. Dialpad's access and security checks consider where a connection comes from and how reputable it is, and residential IPs from real ISPs present as ordinary home or office lines rather than server ranges.

✓

Region-consistent access

Route Dialpad sessions through residential IPs in the country where your numbers and team are based, so the sign-in location matches the account's usual geography.

✓

Stable sticky sessions

Keep one IP for a whole working session so calls, messages and admin tasks run over a single consistent connection rather than changing address midway.

✓

Clean per-tenant isolation

Agencies and MSPs looking after several Dialpad tenants can keep each tenant on its own residential session, so one client's activity stays apart from another's.

✓

Standard auth, easy setup

HTTP/HTTPS or SOCKS5 with username/password or IP-whitelist sign-in means Dialpad's desktop app and browser sessions can be routed through system or browser proxy settings without special configuration.

Matching each job to a plan

Most teams run more than one kind of job. Data is bought per plan, so volume checks can sit on a lower-cost plan while the jobs that need a household or carrier connection get one.

Several markets, one order

MIX packages are ready-made residential pools covering several countries at once, so a multi-market report can run from a single order.

Getting the team set up

Four steps take a team from order to first check, using the browsers and tools it already works with.

1

Size the order

Start on Residential, the plan suggested above, and choose how many gigabytes the work needs. The proxy calculator shows the total first.

2

Pay by card or crypto

Stripe handles card payments and Cryptomus handles crypto. Each order is a one-off, valid for 30 days, with no subscription to cancel.

3

Set the market

Choose countries in the dashboard after payment, so one order can serve one client market this week and another the next. If a job needs a single city, ask support whether the network covers it.

4

Give the team access

The dashboard shows the login details once the payment has gone through. Pass them to the colleagues who need them, or whitelist the office IP so nobody has to type a password.

Rotation or a sticky session?

  • ▸Per-request rotation moves every request to a different IP. Use it for wide, read-only sweeps of public pages, such as price lists or search results.
  • ▸Sticky sessions hold one IP for a window you choose, typically 1-30 minutes, for signed-in or multi-step tasks such as stepping through a client's checkout.

Both are switched in the dashboard, and the options on offer depend on the plan. Keep request rates modest either way.

Signing in

  • ▸Username and password in the host:port:user:pass format that browsers, browser-profile tools and monitoring software accept.
  • ▸IP whitelist: add your office or server address in the dashboard, and anything connecting from it gets in without credentials, which suits shared office lines and scheduled jobs.

Both work over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, and the protocol can be changed later in the dashboard at no extra charge.

Match the IP to the market you report on

Search rankings, prices, ads and even which products appear can change with the visitor's country. Set the IP to the market your client or campaign targets, and the screenshots and figures your team files will line up with what customers there are shown.

  • ✓55+ countries to choose from.
  • ✓City-level targeting where the network supports it.
  • ✓One country per check keeps month-on-month results comparable.

When a report doesn't match what the client sees on the ground, the IP's country is one of the first things to check.

How the four plans compare

Every plan bills per GB. The highlighted row is the plan we suggest for this work.

The rate charged is the one shown for the live plan at checkout.

Keeping Dialpad work within the rules

We sell these proxies for legitimate business work: market and price research, ad verification, SEO, brand protection, QA and compliant automation, including running your own accounts inside each platform's rules. Whatever your team does through them has to stay within the terms of service of every site involved and the law that applies to you and your clients.

  • ✓Collect only publicly available information, and pace requests so the site isn't put under strain.
  • ✓No proxy can promise that an account escapes action by the platform. That depends mostly on how the account is used and whether it follows the terms.
  • ✓Personal details in collected pages, such as names, contact details or reviews, bring data-protection duties with them. Agree with your legal team what you keep and for how long.

The full rules are in our acceptable use policy.

Dialpad proxies: questions from team leads

No. Let them connect directly from where they are, under your company's remote-work security policy. A proxy in another country lengthens the audio path and makes call quality worse. If you need to control where staff sign in from, handle it in your identity and device management, not with proxies.
A small residential order with country targeting, used signed out against your own public pages. Each market needs only a few page loads, so per-GB costs stay small. Keep a simple log of market, expected number, displayed number and date, so marketing and telecoms can fix mismatches quickly.
Check two things before rollout: Dialpad's terms and your own security policy. Routing your company's legitimate access through a proxy is generally acceptable; using one to get around account or security controls is not, and we don't support it.
Voice is sensitive to delay and a proxy adds a hop, so expect some effect. Choose an IP in or near your team's region, keep the session sticky and test call quality with a small group before rolling it out.
Yes. Give each tenant or team its own sticky residential session so their sign-ins stay separate. MSPs that want to offer proxies to clients directly can also apply to the reseller program and sell under their own brand.
Datacenter IPs cost less per GB, but on a security-conscious communications platform they are more likely to trigger additional checks. Residential presents as an ordinary home or office line, which suits day-to-day business use.

Refunds

Proxies that fail on arrival can be reported to support for up to 24 hours after delivery. Support swaps them, and where a working swap isn't possible, refunds the affected amount. Details are in the refund policy.

Support

People answer tickets 24/7. Open one from the Support page in your dashboard and include the order reference.

Logs

Our records cover billing and how much bandwidth each order used. The URLs, page content and destinations your team reaches are never logged.
