Recommended plan: Datacenter

Web Automation proxies for business teams

Datacenter proxies for operations and marketing teams running headless-browser and workflow automation within site terms, with the concurrency scheduled jobs need.

What teams use Web Automation proxies for

Search, research and data teams use them to load public pages from the right location at the volume a report needs, from rankings and ads to prices, competitor pages and QA runs, within each site's terms.

▸ Scheduled browser tasks
▸ Recurring page and price checks
▸ Back-office task automation
▸ Form and uptime monitoring

Web automation for teams: regional QA, competitor pages and tidy access

Teams usually automate a short list of browser chores: walking their own checkout and sign-up flows on a schedule, capturing landing pages as customers in each market see them, and recording competitors' public prices. A proxy decides which country those runs appear to come from. Plan choice follows the target: your own properties rarely need more than datacenter, while checks that must match a local household's view may call for residential.

Regional QA of your own funnel

Run the checkout, cookie banner and sign-up form from each country you sell into before a campaign goes live. Language, currency, tax display and consent wording often change by location, and a scheduled run catches a broken variant before customers do.

One owner for access

Whitelist the IP of the server that runs your jobs instead of pasting usernames and passwords into every script and teammate's laptop. When someone leaves or an agency contract ends, you change one whitelist entry rather than hunting for copied credentials.

Competitor pages, kept public

Price and stock checks belong on public product pages, at a pace that doesn't strain the retailer's site. Skip anything behind a login you don't own, and if the retailer runs an affiliate or product feed, that structured route is often cleaner than rendering pages.

The plan we suggest for Web Automation

We suggest Datacenter here. It costs less per GB than our other plans and loads public pages quickly wherever a site accepts datacenter traffic. Headless browsers and automated workflows send a lot of requests and need speed, concurrency and a cost the team can forecast. For jobs on your own systems or unprotected public sources, datacenter proxies offer better price-performance, provided the automation follows each target site's terms of service.

✓

High concurrency

Batch jobs that open many browsers at once stay on schedule: the 1Gbps line carries parallel headless sessions without the latency spikes that stall a run.

✓

Headless-ready

Puppeteer, Playwright and Selenium each take a proxy when the browser starts, so existing compliant workflows move onto the proxies without a rewrite.

✓

Predictable cost

Datacenter is billed at one flat per-GB rate, so the cost of bandwidth-heavy automation rises in step with usage and is easy to forecast.

✓

Flexible rotation

Each job gets the session type it needs: a fresh address on every request for one-off page loads, or one held IP for a checkout or sign-up flow that breaks if the address changes midway.

Matching each job to a plan

Most teams run more than one kind of job. Data is bought per plan, so volume checks can sit on a lower-cost plan while the jobs that need a household or carrier connection get one.

Several markets, one order

MIX packages are ready-made residential pools covering several countries at once, so a multi-market report can run from a single order.

Getting the team set up

Four steps take a team from order to first check, using the browsers and tools it already works with.

1

Size the order

Start on Datacenter, the plan suggested above, and choose how many gigabytes the work needs. The proxy calculator shows the total first.

2

Pay by card or crypto

Stripe handles card payments and Cryptomus handles crypto. Each order is a one-off, valid for 30 days, with no subscription to cancel.

3

Set the market

Pick the country on the order form, together with the protocol and sign-in method, so agree which market the work covers before checkout.

4

Give the team access

The dashboard shows the login details once the payment has gone through. Pass them to the colleagues who need them, or whitelist the office IP so nobody has to type a password.

Rotation or a sticky session?

  • ▸Per-request rotation moves every request to a different IP. Use it for wide, read-only sweeps of public pages, such as price lists or search results.
  • ▸Sticky sessions hold one IP for a window you choose, typically 1-30 minutes, for signed-in or multi-step tasks such as stepping through a client's checkout.

Both are switched in the dashboard, and the options on offer depend on the plan. Keep request rates modest either way.

Signing in

  • ▸Username and password in the host:port:user:pass format that browsers, browser-profile tools and monitoring software accept.
  • ▸IP whitelist: add your office or server address in the dashboard, and anything connecting from it gets in without credentials, which suits shared office lines and scheduled jobs.

Both work over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, and the protocol can be changed later in the dashboard at no extra charge.

Match the IP to the market you report on

Search rankings, prices, ads and even which products appear can change with the visitor's country. Set the IP to the market your client or campaign targets, and the screenshots and figures your team files will line up with what customers there are shown.

  • ✓55+ countries to choose from.
  • ✓City-level targeting where the network supports it.
  • ✓One country per check keeps month-on-month results comparable.

Major markets on the network

United States United Kingdom Germany France Canada Australia Netherlands India Brazil Singapore

When a report doesn't match what the client sees on the ground, the IP's country is one of the first things to check.

How the four plans compare

Every plan bills per GB. The highlighted row is the plan we suggest for this work.

Plan Trust level Speed Cost From, per GB Where it fits
Datacenter Suggested Standard ★★★★★ $ $3.50 Bulk page checks, rank tracking and QA on your own sites
Residential High ★★★ $$ $3.99 Local prices, search results, ads and marketplaces
Residential Premium Very high ★★★★ $$$ $6.50 Demanding sites, brand protection and client work
Mobile 4G/5G Very high ★★★ $$$$ $4.50 Apps built for phones and ads served on mobile networks

The rate charged is the one shown for the live plan at checkout.

Keeping Web Automation work within the rules

We sell these proxies for legitimate business work: market and price research, ad verification, SEO, brand protection, QA and compliant automation, including running your own accounts inside each platform's rules. Whatever your team does through them has to stay within the terms of service of every site involved and the law that applies to you and your clients.

  • ✓Collect only publicly available information, and pace requests so the site isn't put under strain.
  • ✓No proxy can promise that an account escapes action by the platform. That depends mostly on how the account is used and whether it follows the terms.
  • ✓Personal details in collected pages, such as names, contact details or reviews, bring data-protection duties with them. Agree with your legal team what you keep and for how long.

The full rules are in our acceptable use policy.

Web Automation proxies: questions from team leads

For your own properties, no. For other sites, stick to publicly available pages, read their terms and robots.txt, and keep request rates modest; some terms forbid automated access outright. Logging in to third-party accounts or collecting personal data needs a clear legal basis, so involve whoever handles compliance before a job like that is built.
Start with datacenter for jobs aimed at your own sites, staging environments and plainly public pages; it costs the least per GB. Add residential only for the checks where you need the view of a home connection in a particular country, such as consumer-facing pages. Both are billed per GB, so a small mix is easy to track.
When the target runs serious bot protection. For your own systems and unprotected sources, datacenter's speed and cost are the better fit.
Yes. Developers enter the HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5 details in the launch settings of either framework, and whitelisting the server that runs the jobs removes the need to store credentials in scripts.
Ask whether the job has to stay signed in or carry state between pages. If it does, use a sticky session; if every request stands alone, rotate per request.
The site owner's, plus the law. Your own systems are yours to automate; on anyone else's site, the job has to fit that site's terms of service and the law that applies to you.

Refunds

Proxies that fail on arrival can be reported to support for up to 24 hours after delivery. Support swaps them, and where a working swap isn't possible, refunds the affected amount. Details are in the refund policy.

Support

People answer tickets 24/7. Open one from the Support page in your dashboard and include the order reference.

Logs

Our records cover billing and how much bandwidth each order used. The URLs, page content and destinations your team reaches are never logged.
