From $3.99 per GB · in your dashboard once payment clears · 99.9% uptime

What teams use Yandex proxies for

Search, research and data teams use them to load public pages from the right location at the volume a report needs, from rankings and ads to prices, competitor pages and QA runs, within each site's terms.

▸ SEO for Russian-speaking markets
▸ Market research across the CIS
▸ Yandex Market price reviews
▸ Russian-language rank reporting

Yandex for teams selling into Russia: city rankings, Direct ads and Maps

Teams that sell into Russian-speaking markets watch Yandex alongside Google, because Yandex search, Yandex Maps listings and Yandex Direct ads shape what local buyers see first. A residential IP in the right city lets an account manager view those pages much as a resident would, one city at a time, and turn what they see into evidence a client can act on.

City-by-city visibility

Yandex weights location heavily, so a client can rank well in Moscow yet barely show in Novosibirsk for the same query. Pick cities from the client's sales and delivery data, check each through local residential traffic where available, and report positions per city, not one national figure.

What Wordstat and Webmaster already show

Yandex Wordstat shows search demand by region and Yandex Webmaster reports the queries and positions a verified client site earns, both from Yandex itself. Use proxy checks to see the live page those numbers describe, especially snippets and the map block.

Direct ads and Maps on local time

Yandex Direct campaigns can run on schedules, and Russia stretches from UTC+2 in Kaliningrad to UTC+12 in Kamchatka. Check a client's ads and Maps listing from an IP in that city during its scheduled hours, and note the local time on every capture for the monthly report.

Keeping the city list affordable

Every city on the list adds page loads billed per GB, so a short, fixed list, such as Moscow and Saint Petersburg plus one regional hub, keeps the monthly bill steady and positions comparable. Leave Ukraine out of Yandex plans: the country has blocked Yandex since 2017.

The plan we suggest for Yandex

We suggest Residential here. Traffic leaves through household broadband connections in the country you pick, so pages load as they would for an ordinary customer there. Yandex weights its results toward Russia and neighbouring CIS markets, and toward the searcher's city. Residential IPs there let an account manager see the rankings and listings local buyers get before advising a client.

✓

Russian residential ASNs

Exits run on household lines from Russian providers such as Beeline, MTS and MegaFon, so results reflect an ordinary home connection in Russia.

✓

CIS country coverage

Coverage includes Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for teams selling across the region. Ukraine is on the list too, but it has blocked Yandex for years, so it matters little for Yandex work.

✓

SERP rank tracking

Record client keyword positions on yandex.ru, yandex.by and yandex.kz from local exits, so each market's report shows what buyers there actually see.

✓

Yandex.Market research

Review prices and listings on Yandex Market, Yandex's e-commerce marketplace, for the products your team sells into Russia, keeping any automated collection within Yandex's terms.

Matching each job to a plan

Most teams run more than one kind of job. Data is bought per plan, so volume checks can sit on a lower-cost plan while the jobs that need a household or carrier connection get one.

Several markets, one order

MIX packages are ready-made residential pools covering several countries at once, so a multi-market report can run from a single order.

Getting the team set up

Four steps take a team from order to first check, using the browsers and tools it already works with.

1

Size the order

Start on Residential, the plan suggested above, and choose how many gigabytes the work needs. The proxy calculator shows the total first.

2

Pay by card or crypto

Stripe handles card payments and Cryptomus handles crypto. Each order is a one-off, valid for 30 days, with no subscription to cancel.

3

Set the market

Choose countries in the dashboard after payment, so one order can serve one client market this week and another the next. If a job needs a single city, ask support whether the network covers it.

4

Give the team access

The dashboard shows the login details once the payment has gone through. Pass them to the colleagues who need them, or whitelist the office IP so nobody has to type a password.

Rotation or a sticky session?

  • ▸Per-request rotation moves every request to a different IP. Use it for wide, read-only sweeps of public pages, such as price lists or search results.
  • ▸Sticky sessions hold one IP for a window you choose, typically 1-30 minutes, for signed-in or multi-step tasks such as stepping through a client's checkout.

Both are switched in the dashboard, and the options on offer depend on the plan. Keep request rates modest either way.

Signing in

  • ▸Username and password in the host:port:user:pass format that browsers, browser-profile tools and monitoring software accept.
  • ▸IP whitelist: add your office or server address in the dashboard, and anything connecting from it gets in without credentials, which suits shared office lines and scheduled jobs.

Both work over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, and the protocol can be changed later in the dashboard at no extra charge.

Match the IP to the market you report on

Search rankings, prices, ads and even which products appear can change with the visitor's country. Set the IP to the market your client or campaign targets, and the screenshots and figures your team files will line up with what customers there are shown.

  • ✓55+ countries to choose from.
  • ✓City-level targeting where the network supports it.
  • ✓One country per check keeps month-on-month results comparable.

When a report doesn't match what the client sees on the ground, the IP's country is one of the first things to check.

The rate charged is the one shown for the live plan at checkout.

Keeping Yandex work within the rules

We sell these proxies for legitimate business work: market and price research, ad verification, SEO, brand protection, QA and compliant automation, including running your own accounts inside each platform's rules. Whatever your team does through them has to stay within the terms of service of every site involved and the law that applies to you and your clients.

  • ✓Collect only publicly available information, and pace requests so the site isn't put under strain.
  • ✓No proxy can promise that an account escapes action by the platform. That depends mostly on how the account is used and whether it follows the terms.
  • ✓Personal details in collected pages, such as names, contact details or reviews, bring data-protection duties with them. Agree with your legal team what you keep and for how long.

The full rules are in our acceptable use policy.

Yandex proxies: questions from team leads

Three things: whether sanctions rules where your company operates restrict contracts or payments with Russian firms, including Yandex Direct; whether the client's own policies allow Russian-market activity; and how far Yandex's terms allow any automated collection. Viewing public pages through a proxy is the simple part; the contracts and payments deserve the review.
Better not. Yandex Webmaster lets a site owner delegate access to colleagues' own Yandex accounts, and Yandex Direct has agency and representative roles for client campaigns. Separate logins keep an audit trail, and nobody has to sign in to a shared account from different proxy locations.
Russia. Residential IPs there cover the bulk of Yandex work, with Belarus, Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan added for clients selling into those markets.
Not really. Yandex blocks datacenter ranges fast, so the saving disappears in failed checks.
Use a sticky session for any signed-in workflow, so the account sees one steady address.
Rarely needed. Residential handles Yandex checks at a lower per-GB rate.

Refunds

Proxies that fail on arrival can be reported to support for up to 24 hours after delivery. Support swaps them, and where a working swap isn't possible, refunds the affected amount. Details are in the refund policy.

Support

People answer tickets 24/7. Open one from the Support page in your dashboard and include the order reference.

Logs

Our records cover billing and how much bandwidth each order used. The URLs, page content and destinations your team reaches are never logged.
