Moscow proxies for marketing and e-commerce teams
Moscow shoppers buy through marketplaces such as Wildberries and Ozon and use Avito for classifieds, with prices in roubles. Any monitoring here starts with confirming that sanctions and export controls allow it for your company.

Local search the Moscow way: Yandex Maps and 2GIS listings, metro stations and delivery zones
Yandex, Sber, Ozon and the Moscow Exchange are all headquartered in the capital, and Moscow shoppers expect fast delivery priced by zone. Local search works differently from Western markets: Yandex Maps and 2GIS carry business listings and reviews, and people often search by metro station. Before any of this, confirm that the sanctions regimes that apply to your company and client permit the work.
Listings on Yandex Maps and 2GIS
Moscow customers check opening hours, ratings and reviews on Yandex Maps and on 2GIS, the directory service founded in Novosibirsk. Check from a Moscow IP that a client's listings on both are complete and consistent, and track rating trends without copying reviewers' details into reports.
Search by metro station
Queries for a café or clinic 'у метро' (near the metro) followed by a station name are common in Moscow. Track rankings for station-qualified queries around each branch, not just the city term, because results change from one station to the next.
City Day and the winter season
Moscow City Day in early September brings concerts and street events, and the New Year season fills central squares with fairs and lights from December. Footfall concentrates in the centre on those dates, so check listings and ads for branches near Tverskaya Street and Red Square in particular.
